3. Our knowledge is not restricted to the sensual experience.
When the idea that the process of cognition is that of recollection of what we new before being introduced in this world (Plato) is doubtful, the general proposition that not all knowledge evolves directly from sensory impressions remains valid. The knowledge can be gained at least by one other way - it can be transferred from one person to another. The way the first person received this knowledge is out of the scopes of the present discussion. I can also point to the fact the we possess a huge amount of unconscious knowledge, in which the whole experience of the mankind as well as of the animate nature gathered throughout the evolution is concentrated. Hence, there are philosophers who disagree with the first premise of the argument under consideration, and I find it unconvincing too.
