Romeo and Juliet overview (Shakespeare)

During English in Term 1, we read and studied Shakespeare's Play 'Romeo and Juliet' and watched two film interpretations of it.
As we all know the play is about Romeo, the young heir of the Montagues, and Juliet, the daughter of the house of Capulets, and their love, which defies the hatred between their families. They secretly marry and tragic events follow one after another. At the end of the play, the two warring families make peace as a result of the high price they paid for their feuds.
