Legalize Marijuana Use

Forget Making it Legal, Make it Mandatory
Marijuana is a narcotic that is grown from the cannabis plant. Marijuana has many street names including; pot, grass, weed, Mary Jane, Cannabis, herb, ganja, chronic, haze, Buddha and reefer. Its side effects include: confusion, loss of short term memory, increase in appetite, hallucinations and loss of motivation. It may be bad for your lungs and heart but its positive effects exceed its negatives. Marijuana has been proven to hinder cancer cells and relaxes your body and mind. Today's society is becoming more stressful and violent every year. Organized crime will decrease by taking marijuana off the streets and putting it into the stores. With cannabis incorporated into our society it will cure so many ails that plague us today.
Marijuana has been used for centuries as a pain killer and a remedy for many illnesses and problems. THC or tetrahydrocloride, the active chemical in Marijuana, has recently been discovered to hinder cancer cells from growing. A study by Manuel Guzman of Madrid Spain discovered that Cannabinoids, or THC, has slowed and even stopped tumor growth in lab animals. "Found that THC slowed the growth of lung cancers, breast cancers, and virus-induced leukemia in laboratory mice, and prolonged their lives by as much 36 percent." was stated by researchers in a Virginia Medical College. With the amount of people dieing everyday from cancer we can't afford to not consider the positive uses of medicinal marijuana.
