What is the book about?....
The book is about Joan Morgan – one young, fat girl. Her parents have split up, and she had to change a school, where classmates made fun of her weight. No-one told to her and she felt disgustingly in this school.
Her class teacher Miss Morpeth wanted to present the play “The Pied Piper” in the face of the all school and parents. The play was about piper, who was called to the town Hamelin to rid it of a plague of rats. He charmed all the rats away with his magic flute……
