The Biography of W.E.B.Dubois

W.E.B. Dubois was born on February 23, 1868 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He was an excellent student and by the time he entered high school, he started to be concerned with the development of his race. And so he became a correspondent for his local newspaper, The New York Globe. He felt it was his duty to push his race forward with lectures and editorials that talked about the needs of Africans Americans to politicize themselves.
