An important quote in: Lord of the Flies by William Golding

The novel The Lord of The Flies by William Golding brings up an important quote: "Literature opens a dark window on the soul, revealing more about what is bad in human nature than good." I agree with this statement. Many pieces of literature show that dark side of human nature. I think if someone is away form a normal environment and live in a savage like area then they to will become a savage. You act like the people around and learn from them as well.
