Why the Drinking Age Should not Be Lowered?

In our society today, we are experiencing a growing problem with alcohol. The sales of alcohol, alcoholism, driving under the influence and drinking during pregnancy are just a few of the problems we've been experiencing. The mere fact that we have signs warning pregnant women not to drink, makes it obvious how out-of-hand our drinking problems have gotten.
