We also learned that Socrates moral position in general was one of always trying to be just and honest rather than to please other people, knowing that even if he bothered others, he was ultimately doing them good by living justly and truthfully. By living a philosophical life, one of truth and justice, he set an example for others. He showed others that the examined life was the one worth living for seeking truth produced goodness, whereas the unexamined life only led people to believe false wisdoms and act unjustly. He proved that ignorance was indeed evil and that type of life was simply not worth living. …
