Blake published two very famous books of poems, "Songs of Experience" and "Song of Innocence". The poems from "Songs of Experience" are all about God who brought the evil and suffering into the world. The "Songs of the Innocence" are talking about the redemptive God of the New Testament, like Jesus. The lamb is from the "Songs of Innocence" and the tiger from the "Songs of Experience".
