Saldus

Saldus is located in the South West of Latvia. Saldus is in the middle of Kurzeme. People use to call this town- „Honey drop in Kurzeme” (medus piliens Kurzemē).
Saldus ha san important culture monument- st. Jāņa church with very famous organ. This organ was built by Oskars Šepskis .
He was one of the best organ-builder in all arouns Europa.
In Saldus was very famous Latvian poetist Māris Čaklais and outstanding artist Janis Rozentāls born. There is Saldus` art and history museum after him.
Very famous place in Saldus is Kalnsētas park, there is the only open-stage of town , where important music festivāls like „Saldus Saule” takes place every summer. This parki s approved by people living in Saldus.…
