In conclusion it is my opinion that yes corporations are justified in laying off employees while still making a profit. They are justified because they need to remain competitive and to do so they need to be profitable which can mean cutting costs and as a result jobs. Also, they are justified because some jobs that are obsolete need to be removed so a company can remain profitable and offer job security to the rest of the employees. Lastly, corporations lay employees off as to remain a viable and profitable company to consumers on most occasions laying employees of can mean the survival of a company and for these reasons it is acceptable.…
