Management can use it as a follow up on employees to make certain the information generated form the customer assist is being used. By pulling a query of random customers that are flagged by Customer Assist software the management can check the sales quotes and messages input by customer/sales staff. That way the management can verify the progress of the system and mentor staff.
In closing, a business requirement is what the business needs to do and a business rule is how the business does it. If one is trying to put together business requirements for a new system, the requirements will be a definition of what one is trying to accomplish. The system must be able to accomplish what the business requires of it.
