In conclusion, Good Corporate Governance is very important for a successful and healthy organisation. The code of practise should be part of the organisation's guiding principles and corporate ethics, which will in turn set the organisation's culture.
Substance is very important to good corporate governance. An organisation can have an excellent corporate governance structures and policies on paper but if the CEO and directors are not focused on stockholders and shareholders interests, it can spell disaster.
Good Corporate Governance should set principles and values that look out for the interest of shareholders, stakeholders, as well as, the society as a whole. It is about promoting corporate fairness, transparency and accountability.
