The online procurement application will need to be a diverse system that will be able to allow the procurement officer the ability to maintain an active lists of products for the users at the company to purchase. The users at the company will need to be able to successfully order, approve and receive the items ordered from the online application. In order to achieve this functionality design methods need to be adhered to during the development phases. A concise statement of need, an easily understood and detailed diagram to explain how the application will operate, an acceptance and testing plan, and good documentation and training that will allow the users to be able to use the application.
