Young Goodman Brown

In Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown" a man leaves his wife to go run and errand that is evil. He comes upon who I think is the devil. He then follows an old lady, Goody Cloyse, to a witch's meeting and finds out that people he thought he knew were not who they claimed to be. I was asked to answer the question of if Young Goodman Brown was dreaming about the whole thing. I think it could have been a little bit of him dreaming and not dreaming.
