This report is written to discover possible potential opportunities for Enefit Ltd. in the electricity market in Latvia. Enefit Ltd. is an electricity supplier currently having 6 percent market share in supplying companies with electricity in Latvia. It is important for a company to continue developing, because their competitors are all the time searching ways how to steal some part of the competitors’ market share.
The opportunity we suggested for Enefit Ltd. is to expand their target market also to households, because they can offer some features as ‘green’ or cheaper energy that currently is lacking. Still currently monopoly dominates in the market, so there are obstacles to increase their market share, but they can be overcame.
At first there will be given background information about Enefit Ltd. and electricity market. Later on we introduce SWOT and PRIME analysis showing advantages and disadvantages for our suggested opportunity, followed by description of expanding to households, at the end summarized all in the conclusion.…
